This adult eagle, photographed May 28, 2007 is presumed to be one of a bonded pair that have been regularly observed for several years in this area south of Monterey in Highland County. Although the nest site has not been located, in early June 2006 a recently fledged Bald Eagle was photographed in this same area. An adult BAEA, possibly one of the parent birds was also observed.
